Radiation Care Program

Radiation therapy is one of the treatment options for some cancers and is sometimes given in combination with chemotherapy and/or surgery. Radiation to the head and neck region can compromise feeding, cause difficulty in swallowing, and mouth ulcers. These side effects require additional nutrition support and management to prevent weight loss and malnutrition which can be acheived by radiation therapy diet program.
